Sensory Trail

When you can't see you use lots of other senses. On this trail we had to use our voices and our hands to direct each other. The trail was an obstacle course with ups and downs and overs and unders which are all quite tricky when you cannot see!

Survivor

This activity linked nicely to our topic and the books we have been reading. We started by trying to build a shelter that would keep us warm and safe. We learnt that really we needed tent pegs to help with that so we found twigs and used knives (in a safe way) to sharpen them. We also started fires, again safely using flint, it was really difficult, most of us would be quite cold and quite hungry if we were ever in the wilderness!
