Armed Forces Day art project- June 2021
Along with 4,300 local school pupils Cherrywood was delighted to be involved in a very special art project to celebrate Armed Forces Day.
All the children in the school painted and decorated a wooden disc that symbolised different aspects of our British Army- Combat, Engineering, Logistics and Support, Intelligence, Communication & IT, Medical and Music. These discs were used on a big display at the bandstand in Aldershot, the home of the British Army.
Mrs Tagima went along and was delighted to see some of our pupils there with their families, the children were so excited to hunt for the disc they made!
