Maths
This term in maths, Larch have been very busy. We have focused on many areas which has included expanding our place value knowledge into 3 and 4 digits, learning how to calculate the perimeter of shapes, money handling, manipulation of 3 dimensional shapes and even making our own 'real life' 3D models. Very recently, we started looking at grams and kilograms, the children were very excited to conduct their first ever mathematical investigation involving scales and everyday objects in the classroom.
