Elm Class 2024 - 2025
Autumn 1 Science Pictures
In science we looked at forces. We learned about how and why items move.
Autumn 1 Maths
One subject in maths we looked at was addition and subtraction of 2 digit numbers using multi-link. We also looked at how our answer was different if we made the starting number ten more than the previous starting number.
Autumn 1 Online safety
In online saftey we focused on how people may appear different online to in person.
Autumn 2 English Pictures
In Enlglish we looked at the Iron Man and we role-played the first chapter on the book with the intention of understaning the story better.
Autumn 2 PE
In PE as part of culture week the children had a go at learning the Haka routine.
Autumn 2 Online Safety
In online safty we looked at the importance of speaking up about things we see online and talking to trusted adults.
Autumn 2 History
In history we looked at the history of air travel and how Samuel Cody contibuted to this.
Autumn 2 English
In English we looked at writing a non-chronological report about dinosaurs and what we may need to include.
Autumn 2 Computing
In computing with looked at scratch. We focused on getting our character to move and what we need to enter to get it to do certain things.
