Virtual Sports Day 2020
Sports Day is one of the great events in our school calendar and we couldn’t let a little thing like a global pandemic stop us celebrating together. However, we do have to be safe and responsible, so this year we went online!
Cherrywood ‘Virtual Sports day’ started from Monday 6th July – Thursday 16th July. There were 15 challenges in total and the children completed as many challenges as they wanted! The results were updated regularly and shared on Tapestry to inform children how their class were doing.
I wanted to say a SPECIAL 'THANK YOU' to parents who took part alongside their children to support, encourage and (MOST importantly) to join in with the fun!
