December 2021 - Rushmoor Christmas tree festival
We were delighted to be asked again to be involved in a big scale art project that included 23 schools in the Rushmoor Borough. We were provided with 2 plain wooden trees, a budget to buy resources and we were allowed to be 'set free' with our imagination of how they were to look.
We chose to go with a 'Cherrywood red' theme and every child in the school either played a part in painting the trees or making baubles to go on them.
It was quite a sight to see with them dotted around the bandstand in Aldershot especially when it got dark and they were all lit up. It was also lovely to see that some of our families were able to go along and spot our 'Cherrywood trees' whilst looking at all the wonderful ones made by other local schools.
