Year 4 read the poem called 'Jabberwocky' written by Lewis Carroll. We looked at how the poem was organised and focused on analysing the language chosen by the poet. As a class, we discussed what the 'Jabberwock' would look like, where it would live and what it would eat. After brain storming the ideas, all children were able to write their own non-chronological reports on the 'Jabberwock'.
