April 2022- Ukrainian fundraiser
Mrs Tagima and Mrs Hills arranged a book sale to raise money for Ukraine and Cherrywood children and their families came out in force to support this very important cause.
The front of the school looked amazing decorated with sunflowers, the national flower of the country made by the children across the school.
The children truly showed their love of books and were very excited to choose some to buy and take home. We were blown away by the generosity of our parents, grandparents and carers who gave donations, some literally emptied their purses into the bucket!
We were delighted to raise an amazing £180.86 which will be sent directly to the disasters emergency fund committee.
