World Book Day
World Book Day changes lives through a love of books and shared reading. We celebrated World Book Day on 3 March 2022. Our mission was to promote reading for pleasure, offering every child and young person the opportunity to have a book of their own. Throughout the day, the children took part in lots of activities with focus on 'Reading'. Some of these activities included; following instructions to make bookmarks, 2 minutes silent reading at certain times of the day, reading challenges in teams, escape room activities, reading in unusual positions. They completed these activities independently and within teams.
The children had an amazing and inspiring day.
