  • Reading Strategies and Skills to Focus This information supports your understanding of what is expected for your child to do whilst they read a book. There are strategies to help you with knowing what skills to focus on and how it can be taught.
  • Games for Reading There are games to support your child to embed the taught and learnt skills when reading books.
  • Suggested Texts This website has provided a list of books targeted to Year 4 children written by different authors. Reading a range of text written by different authors allows your child to be exposed to different styles of texts.
